1. Required documents
A printed and signed copy of the below Direct Debit form and W-8BEN or W-8BENE form (required to trade shares listed in the United States) must be scanned and sent to service@openmarkets.com.au for processing. Please quote your account number and W8/ International within the email subject.
1.1 - A signed Direct Debit form
- This must be a Macquarie CMA account
1.2 - A valid W-8BEN form - used for Individual, Joint Accounts and Sole Trader Accounts
- For Joint Accounts, each account holder must complete a separate copy of the W-8BEN form
- Guide on completing W-8BEN for Individual, Joint or Sole Trader
1.3 - A valid W-8BENE form - used for Company, Trust and Superannuation Accounts
- Guide on completing W-8BENE for Company Accounts
- Guide on complete W-8BENE for Super Accounts
- Guide on completing W-8BENE for Trust Accounts
